The Kiowa Water and Wastewater Authority Board would like to invite those interested in attending a 2-hour online live course being hosted by the Colorado Division of Water Resources on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 9:30am-11:30am, here at Kiowa Town Hall (404 Comanche Street).
Kiowa, Colo. – August 29, 2024 – On Thursday, August. 29, a portion of Black Hills Energy facilities near Kiowa, Colo. was damaged, resulting in a disruption of service to customers. To safely facilitate the repair process, technicians will go door to door to turn off gas meters in the impacted area.
Elbert County was established on February 13, 1874, and its 150th birthday is almost here! Earlier this fall various municipalities and community organizations, including the Elbert County Historical Society, gathered together to form the 150th Anniversary Committee and start planning for this once-in-a-lifetime event.
