Please submit all building and sign applications directly to: sdavidson@townofkiowa.com

Please note: We only issue building permits for addresses located within our Municipal Town limits. Any addresses outside of the Town limits will need to get their permit through Elbert County. (Most Town of Kiowa addresses are PO Boxes or 3-digit or 4-digit only. All 4-digit addresses currently start with a "1". However, just because it is 3 digits doesn't mean it is within Town limits.) Please feel free to email or call if you need to verify an address.

The Town does not require Contractor licensing or registration to pull a permit.

Commercial spaces are now required to submit a copy of their lease agreement with building permit applications.

See the chart below for the building permit and review fee schedule. * All permits will be subject to a 1.5% Town Use tax and a 1% County Use tax based on project valuation.* Additional fees may be required depending on the size and scope of the project.
