Kiowa Main Street

The Town of Kiowa is a proud member of the Colorado Main Street Program, which provides access to technical, state, and professional assistance, as well as grant and funding opportunities. The program’s goal is to protect, sustain, and revitalize Kiowa’s Main Street and town center through initiatives focused on historic preservation, beautification, local economic promotion, and thoughtful development. This partnership supports Kiowa’s vision of maintaining its small-town character while encouraging growth and vibrancy in the heart of the community.
The Department of Local Affairs Announces Four New Main Street Communities
The Department of Local Affairs’ (DOLA) Colorado Main Street Program has designated the City of Cripple Creek, City of Woodland Park, City of Fort Morgan, and Town of Kiowa as official Main Street Communities in the Colorado Main Street Program. These communities join 27 others in the program. The Colorado Main Street Program provides a framework, direct technical assistance, and mini–grants to support community-led downtown revitalization.
