As many of you are aware, due to the unprecedented amount of moisture we have experienced this summer, we are now dealing with the pests that come as a result. Thus, the Town has contracted with a company called Mosquito Authority to assist in eradicating the tremendous mosquito issue we are encountering right now. However, due to many other communities experiencing the same, the company is swamped with contractual commitments and had to squeeze the Town in this Saturday. You

After-Hours Water Emergencies
If you are experiencing an after-hours water emergency, such as a broken water line, frozen meter, high pressure incident, etc., please call Douglas County Sheriff Dispatch at 303-660-7500. Do not call 9-1-1 unless it is a life-threatening emergency. When you call, advise dispatch you reside in the Town of Kiowa and have them refer to the bolo in place pertaining to water emergencies.

We are looking for striking images that depict life in Kiowa—natural landscapes, wildlife, events, facilities, businesses, architecture, weather or even people living life in our Town. Winning photos will be included in our 2024 Calendar. Deadline is December!
