ECCO yearly giving program gets underway at Elbert County Fairgrounds

The day-long Kiowa Christmas Event on Nov. 29 was a huge success. The event at the Elbert County Fairgrounds also served as the Elbert County Coalition for Outreach (ECCO) Christmas For Kids Kickoff.
Attendees were treated to a holiday craft fair, a Themed Christmas Tree contest, a variety of kids' activities, and a visit from Santa Claus. Christmas For Kids is a local giving tree program, where the community can snag a tag with gift ideas for an anonymous local child from Christmas trees in Elizabeth and Kiowa.
