As many of you are aware, due to the unprecedented amount of moisture we have experienced this summer, we are now dealing with the pests that come as a result. Thus, the Town has contracted with a company called Mosquito Authority to assist in eradicating the tremendous mosquito issue we are encountering right now. However, due to many other communities experiencing the same, the company is swamped with contractual commitments and had to squeeze the Town in this Saturday. You
may or may not see them, as they will be on foot walking through specific, targeted areas that will have the highest benefit to the Town as a whole, but they will not in any form or fashion be coming onto your private property. Targeted areas are:
- School and Baseball Field
- Town Parks and Playgrounds
- Fawn Valley Open Area
- Kiowa Schools Softball Field
- Drainage area running through Ute Village MHP
