Call to Order
The special meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order on September 4, 2024, at 7:06 PM by Mayor Rick Kolm.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Kolm, Trustee Wineland, Trustee Howard, Trustee Hart, and Trustee Shafer arrived at 7:07pm. The Town of Kiowa had a quorum to conduct business.
Mayor Pro Tem Smith was absent.

Agenda Consent
Ms. Boyd made a request to revise the agenda by adding B. Oath of Office under V. New Business. Trustee Howard made a motion to approve the agenda with the requested revision and Trustee Wineland seconded the motion. The motion was carried 5-0 with no discussion.
Public Comment
None.
New Business
- Ms. Duvall spoke to her education, past experience, specialized skills, and civic activities that make her qualified to serve on the Kiowa Water and Wastewater Authority Board and she fielded a variety of questions by the Board of Trustees.
Trustee Howard made a motion to accept and approve Ms. Duvall's appointment to the Kiowa Water and Wastewater Authority Board of Directors. Trustee Wineland seconded, and the motion was carried 5-0 with no discussion.

Ms. Boyd gave Ms. Duvall the oath of office to serve on the KWW A Board of Directors, in Town Clerk Sasha Davidson's absence, making her appointment effective at the next monthly meeting on September 10, 2024.
Adjourn
Trustee Howard made the motion to adjourn at 7:25pm. Trustee Wineland seconded, and the motion carried 5-0 with no discussion.
The next regular meeting will be on September 10th at Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.
